One of the hardest things to do is to decorate your fence and deck and get what you are looking for. The Scots Pine, sometimes called the Scotch Pine, is a great outdoor bonsai tree for those living in climate zones four through nine. This bonsai, scientifically called the pinus sylvestris, tends to naturally grow in what bonsai traditionalist call the bonsai literati style. This means its branches will spread horizontally without much need to guide them. This makes the Scots Pine a great beginner bonsai for those who are just getting started out or for those who like the look of a bonsai but don’t really understand how to grow them. The Scots Pine features reddish brown bark that is scaly to the touch. Over time, the bark turns grayer. The needles, which are stiff and often twist, also change color over time, starting out gray-green and shifting to blue-green. Gardening is what gets me out on the weekends and makes me a happier person during the week. Waking bright and early after a full week of work, I can’t wait to get my hands dirty. I love watching the progress of the new sprouts from my garden and anticipating what lucky vegetables will be up next sizzling on my stove. But, this past spring I realized that my passion for gardening was getting a bit out of control. I needed storage space for all my supplies in my cramped backyard. French Empire style emerged late in the Neoclassical era and was greatly influenced by the taste and preferences of Napoleon I. He adopted the order, symmetry, and simplicity of style that characterized the Neoclassical style and added elements that symbolized his own regime.  One such motif is the laurel. In Bowl of Apples in Medallion tapestry a pair of crossed laurel branches figure prominently in the design, directly under a gold floral medallion. Inside the medallion, a symmetrical pyramid of apples is stacked in a fine china bowl. The picture is balanced by a swag made of rose garland above the medallion.
